Fantastic pictures from Woolacombe Bay - watching the weekend

31-05-2016

Thanks to Nick from our local club we had some beautiful pictures of Tandem Hang Gliding in Devon last week. Conditions were great for the whole day - Woolacombe is now being dubbed the "Monday Club" in 2016 as it seems to be the best day each week for on-shore winds!!

Looking ahead this half term week is sunny but the wrong direction for tandem air experience hang gliding flights - however there is a chance the weekend may bring on-shore winds. See our facebook page for the latest updates on our recent flights: https://www.facebook.com/2Flylikeabird

Busy few weeks flying, next week starting to shape up well

19-05-2016

The end of April and some sporadic days in May gave us the westerly winds we needed for Tandem Hang Gliding in the South West of England. Using Woolacombe Downs on the spectacular North Coast of Devon, we were treated with some wonderful conditions for flying the tandem hang glider.

We are watching the weather from Sunday on-wards as a High Pressure is moving in over the Bay of Biscay which should provide us with good on-shore winds.

An Experience in the South West Tandem Hang Gliding over Devon

25-04-2016

Angela, Martin and Nathan came down from Bristol on Sunday to experience a tandem hang gliding flight over the beautiful North Devon Coastline.

A consistent wind all day enabled the Tandem Hang Gliding to be an absolute ball. We were soon climbing to heights over 800 to 1000 feet above the South West Coastline.

The week ahead looks promising from Wednesday on-wards so if you are available to take an experience that will take your breath away get in touch.
